Privacy Policy

Privacy First

As a solo developer, I have no interest in selling your data. I built this tool to be useful, not to track you.

1. Data Collection

I collect minimal data necessary to provide your typing analytics:

• Session Stats: Words per minute (WPM), accuracy percentage, and category progress
• Timing Data: Anonymous keystroke timing patterns to help identify areas for improvement
• Category Usage: Which vocabulary categories you practice (e.g., Healthcare, Legal, Tech)

What I DON'T collect: No names, no emails, no personal information, no tracking cookies, no advertising pixels.

2. Data Storage

Your data is stored securely using Neon PostgreSQL, a serverless database that encrypts data at rest and in transit. Session data is used solely to display your personal progress over time.

3. Service Providers

I use the following third-party services to operate this platform:

• Netlify: Hosts the application and serverless functions. They may collect standard web logs for security and performance monitoring.
• Neon: Provides the PostgreSQL database. Data is encrypted and protected under their security policies.

Neither service has access to personally identifiable information because I don't collect any.

4. Your Rights

As a user, you have complete control over your data:

• Your session data is stored locally in your browser and synced to the database
• Clearing your browser data will reset your local progress
• I don't require accounts, so there's no personal data to delete

5. Cookies & Tracking

Lexicon.ovh does not use tracking cookies. The only cookies used are:

• Essential cookies: Required for the website to function (session management)

No analytics tools like Google Analytics are used. Your browsing behavior is private.

6. Changes to This Policy

If I make changes to this privacy policy, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
